Published in Liverpool & London in 1891 by Edward Howell. First edition, 299 pp. Quarto, 11" x 8". Maroon cloth boards, vellum spine. Gilt stamped title to spine, gilt ornament to front cover. Gilt top edge. Illustrations include frontispiece portrait of Lady Hamilton, and line drawings of her in various acting roles. Condition: Very Good. Board covers rubbed. Faint light stain to front cover. Foxing from front endpaper through vii, then the occasional scattered foxing throughout. See photos. Foxing on rear endpaper. Bottom quarter of spine vellum separated, repaired.
