Pictorial paper on boards; Bindings are tight and square. Text clean, light even toning. Moderate shelf handling wear with minor soiling; light edge and corner wear. The matching pictorial Dust Jacket is unclipped and is in a new clear protective Mylar sleeve. There are minuscule chips and tears to jacket with one larger chip at head of jacket spine at rear. 8vo; 7.25 by 5 inches (18.5x12.3 cm); [6], 152 pp. First American Edition.
Rarely seen in jacket.. A somewhat disguised novel of St. Andrews, of which includes the well-known St. Andrews figures of the time. The American version of The Haunted Major, one of the classic British golf fiction stories.
