Red cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine under mainly blue dustwrapper with a bust of John Dickinson to the front cover. 10.5ins x 7ins, front endpapers feature family tree, rear endpapers show a map of overseas branches and factories, xvi, 274pp plus frontis, 2pp plates within the text and 44pp plates after the index. 50 illustrations in total (including the frontis). A history of this well known firm of paper makers written by the great niece of John Dickinson to celebrate the firms 150th anniversary. Dw rubbed to top & bottom of spine and base of rear cover. VG / G.
