London: Longmans, Green, and Co. , 1887. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavos. 399; 380 pages. Two Volume set; indexed in the second volume. Hardcovers bound in green cloth with spine titles in gilt. The bindings are rubbed and bumped, and the spine ends are beginning to fray. A sound set with secure inner hinges. Text is a little toned but generally clean. Partly unopened.
