From the library of socialite and patron of the arts, Audrey Pleydell-Bouverie. Two volumes bound as one. Being volume I 1066-1620 and volume II 1620-1800. This is the third work in the 'At A Glance' series. This work is a simple review in pictures of English rooms and their decoration from the eleventh to the eighteenth centuries. Illustrated throughout, with forty-nine illustrations to the first volume and forty-five to the second. From the library at Julians Park, the former home of Audrey Pleydell-Bouverie (Audrey Evelyn James Coats, and Audrey Evelyn James Field). Pleydell-Bouverie was the youngest daughter of an Anglo-American lumber and steel millionaire.
