An extraordinarily lively study, full of information and entertainment with plates throughout By Amy Cruse author of "The shaping of English Literature", "English Literature throughout the Ages", Editor of "A Treasury of Caroline Lyrics" Includes articles on The Waverley novels and their Readers, Wordsworthians, Books and Politics, Periodicals and their Readers and much more. In a full calf binding. There is wear to the extremities, particularly the spine which is cracked and becoming detached. The binding is tight and firm and both covers are firmly attached. Internally the book is generally clean and bright apart from some mild spots in places. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
