A smart first edition copy of the collection of poems Enoch Arden, written by the renowned poet, and poet Laureate Alfred Tennyson. This is a first edition collection of poems written by Alfred Tennyson including the poem Enoch Arden, Sea Dreams, The Voyage and The Flower amongst others.Enoch Arden is a narrative poem published in 1864 by Alfred Tennyson during his time as Poet Laureate under Queen Victoria. The poems lends its name to a principle in law that after being missing for a certain number of years, a person could be declared dead for purposes of inheritance and remarriage. In full calf binding. Externally, generally smart. The joints, extremities and spine are a faded. There are a few marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound with bright clean pages. There is the odd scattered spot throughout. Very Good
