Full brown morocco, signed by René Kieffer, with narrow inlays in darker brown, and a wide gilt band, tooled with a pattern of triangles, top edge gilt, others uncut, marbled endpapers. Spine slightly darkened, otherwise fine. Matching slipcase. Printed on vélin teinté, this is one of 50 copies with a suite of the wood engravings on japon pelure. The 41 engravings in the suite are mounted and bound in at the end.

Housed in a red cloth covered slip case with marbled paper lining. The spines are a bit rubbed and there are a couple of small scratches but overall this is an attractive set of this important collection. Only a few sets were issued in these publishers delux leather bindings and they seldom turn up on the market.

Floral corner decorations with green morocco onlays. Board edges with partial ruled gilt lines. Inner Dentelles fully decorated with gilt ruled lines and floral designs, surrounding fawn Moire silk centre pieces. Silk endpapers. All edges gilt. Spine just very slightly toned. A light mark to the top outer corner of the rear silk endpaper.
