About This Item

The First UK Printing published by Jonathan Cape in 1998. The BOOK is in near Fine condition with one small bump to the lower rear edge. Free from erasures and markings. The WRAPPER is neatly price-clipped and is in near FINE condition. A few minor age related markings and minor creasing to the edges in places to the panels. The wrapper artwork looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover. The BOOK has been inscribed by the author to the title page : 'For Anthony May, with best wishes, Raymond Briggs, 23 March 2001'. This is now one of Raymond Briggs' iconic works having been very successfully animated for TV. Increasingly scarce to find with such attributes. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.

Synopsis
