The limitation page has a handwritten dedication to Jean de Bavier and is signed by Gaston Riou. Hardback. 184pp. Bound in contemporary quarter leather with raised bands and gilt to spine. Marbled paper boards and marbled end papers. Top edge gilt and silk page marker. Original paper covers bound-in. Foreword by Raymond Poincare. Riou's eloquent argument for a pacifist and federal Europe. Text in French. Book in good condition. Spine a little faded with some rubbing to extremities and around the hinge. Boards lightly soiled. Paper generally a little toned with some light sporadic spotting.
