Norwalk, CT: Easton Press. Near Fine. 1990. Hardcover. Wallce's well-regarded biography of P.T. Barnum was originally published in 1959. The Easton Press, known for its fine bindings, republished this book in 1990 in a full brown leather binding with three raised spine bands and four compartments. The cover and spine decorations are in 22 kt gold, all edges are gilt; silk moire end papers with a yellow silk ribbon bookmark; printed on archival acid-free paper with smyth sewing. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. No bookplates or previous owner names. This is a very pretty book that would make a fine addition to any library. Full leather binding with four raised spine bands and five compartments. The cover and spine decorations are in 22 kt gold; all edges are gilt; it has silk moire end papers and a silk ribbon bookmark. The book is printed on archival acid-free paper with smyth sewing. The publisher's "Notes from History" is loosely laid in. This book appears to have been unread.
