About This Item
The date on the title page indicates this to be a first edition. Additional copyright dates are given relative to the various works excerpted herein. This is a collection of selected passages from other Wolfe works. An image of the first page of the table of contents can be found in photo #5, the full table runs over five pages. There are a total of 71 excerpts from just four works, with the lion's share coming from Of Time and the River and Look Homeward, Angel.
The book shows wear at the corners and edges, while the dust jacket shows wear just about everywhere. The pages are clean, tight and unmarked, with a former owner's name inside the front cover. Many small illustrations were provided by Edward Shenton.
This appears to be a rather rare book.
