Hardback, 1902, second thousand, published by published by Williams and Norgate, London, vi + 205 pages + 14-page author and publisher catalogue at rear.
Octavo/8vo, measures around 8 7/8" by 5 3/4" by 3/4". Reddish-brown cloth binding with faux leather texture, embossed detail to boards and gilt lettering to spine. A little marking and scuffing to binding but quite clean and colouring still vivid. Signs of wear, some rubbing at edges and on hinges. Bumped corners. Some slackness to binding, cracking to inner rear hinge but book contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and a bit marked with slight foxing. Some marking, tanning and foxing to endpapers. Previous owner bookplate to front pastedown and name and year to front free endpaper. Occasional marks but page surfaces generally clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
