London: George C. Harrap & Co, 1932. First American Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Good. Octavo. 7.5 x 9.75 in. 287 pp. (Whimsically) illustrated with black & white reproductions of artworks by Arthur Rackham throughout text, twelve color plates and illustrated endpapers. Good in original brick red cloth boards that have spots and staining on the spine, lower back board, and a spot or two on the lower front cover. The interior board has a child's name drawn in pencil at the top. The binding is firm and the pages are bright and clean. The text notes the publisher is George C. Harrap while the exterior binding notes the publisher is David McKay, who published the first American Edition of the text.
