This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Good dust jacket. The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping and rubbing. The text pages are mostly clean and bright. The price clipped dust jacket has several small edge nicks, tears and small chips missing. The dust jacket also has generalized toning and spots of rubbing. "A collection of eight of Jack London's classic short stories. This was one of Jack's earliest books and focuses mainly on his experience among the gold miners and trappers of the Yukon Territory. Besides an interesting tale about an evil dog, it covers life among the native tribes. “The One Thousand Dozen” tale is an interesting, though tragic, yarn about the value of something as common as eggs in a frontier environment."
