Bryan Forbes was an English film director, screenwriter, actor and novelist. Best known as the director of The Stepford Wives, he also wrote a selection of novels of which this is his fourth. Beautifully rebound in a blue half crushed morocco binding with green and blue patterned boards. Externally, in lovely condition. Bookplate of Burnell to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
