The text is illustrated with 250 black-and-white caricatures. Light green coloured cloth boards with black coloured titles on the spine. Illustrated dust wrapper, showing a caricature by Oscar Berger, against a green coloured background with black, red and white coloured titles on the front panel and black and red coloured titles on the spine. A book of caricatures by the artist Oscar Berger. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the lower book edges. Browning and faint foxing to the paper edges. Heavy foxing to the first few and last few pages of the book. Internally the pages are very slightly brown. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower lefthand corner of the free front endpaper. The dust wrapper corners are slightly rubbed and chipped as is the head and the heel of the spine. The dust wrapper itself has become quite dull and foxed. Chipping to the head and heel of the dust wrapper. There has been repair of lower dust wrapper with paper, tape still in situ on the verso of the dust wrapper. A few holes have been caused by insect activity on the rear fold over crease. Heavy foxing browning is also noted to the verso of the dust wrapper. Clipping of the dust wrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. This is the first UK edition. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. 100 pages,. Dust Jacket price-clipped.
