New York and London: Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1898. Hardcover. Near Fine. Two volume set. 24.5 x 17 cm. Octavo. 587pp 729pp (4 ads). Bound in grey cloth decorated in gilt, silver, green, red. Gilt top foredges. Extensively illustrated in black and white throughout as well as with 16 color plates. Complete with 4 folding maps in the pockets of volume 1. Maps are in nice shape, but showing some toning and a few tiny holes at the folds in some cases. Title page of volume one is detached but present. Nice set.
