About This Item
First edition, signed by the author. The book exhibits minor wear and soiling. The red fabric covered boards are not worn through at any point and have still shiny gilt print and decoration on the front and spine. The deckle-edged pages are clean, tight and unmarked. Signed by the author, with an inscription, after the title page (photo #6). Includes a three-page essay from the author on the topic of the Expert Witness, dated 1943 (photo #8). Endpapers contain a map of the US with areas of oil reserves known at that time. The dust jacket is badly worn, with many tears and some pieces missing. A rare book. This book will ship at over two pounds. Excess shipping costs are included in the list price.

Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost. All of my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have about 2900 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily. Check back frequently to see what's new. -----
