A large yet thin book that surveys some of the important forms of industrial and maritime internal combustion engines from the era between 1861 and 1928. Photographs of well restored engines from many applications. A rare and highly valued book. The book and dust jacket shows very little wear. The pages are clean, tight and unmarked.

A small book with a stapled binding. Very little wear. Consists of a number of reprints from late 19th century volumes of the American Machinist Magazine, all featuring various industrial internal combustion engines of the time. Seems to be rather rare and quite highly valued.

Pages are clean, tight and bright, with a number of tiny spots on the page edges, mainly on top. I have not observed any margin notes or underlining. This seems to be a quite rare book. I would imagine this more for a collector, as the techniques of metallurgy must have had some advances over the past sixty years. (Or maybe not all that much.)
