Self Published. Good. (1964). Softcover. What a gem! No publication information given, however the gift inscription from "With love from sister" is dated Christmas '64. Pp 292, no index but illustrated throughout by various contributors. Each entry is hand written, signed and many are self illustrated and photo-copied. The title page cartoon alone appears commercial and is of a preacher (?) in a stew pot with native reading "Favorite Recipes. " The table of contents begins with Table Graces and includes Special Graces (holidays,) Graces (family times,) and Children's Graces'. Section dividers are hand illustrated. The last section is "Household Hints" contributed by Mrs. C. W. Hoffman's Mother's Cookbook, 1830. Pages 282-283 are reproduced charts for serving 50. A well used cookbook with stains and a scattering of notes. The covers edges are worn the surface is stained. Remains overall a nice copy of of the eastern coast and more specifically of New England's food history and culture. Trinity Church in Pawtuxet, established in 1883, remains active. Members first met to worship on August 12, 1883 in the home of John Austin at the corner of Ocean and Fort Avenues. The present church, built by noted architect Norman Isham was built in 1910. ; 8vo .
