London: David Stott, 1886 Book. Good. Hardcover. [iv], 220, [2] pages + frontispiece. In the original cloth binding, worn at the head and foot of the spine. Some marks and scuffs. End papers are browned. Ink presentation inscription to the front free end paper - Frances E.J. Rodd from her Brother August 1886. Presumably written by the author. Frontispiece is browned and stained as is the tissue interleaving between it and the title page. Title page lightly browned. Pages spotted throughout. Page edges soiled. Splitting a bit internally between pages 96 and 97..
