About This Item
Henry Fisher, Son, and P. Jackson,, 1834.. 1834 8vo. viii, 9 - 560 p. Engraved frontispiece and additional engraved title, nine engraved plates. One or two plates dated 1835. Bound in recent quarter calf, spine with raised bands and gold lines. Fore edge of frontis and engraved title frayed without affecting printed surface. Some marginal browning of the plates, but a very good copy. This anonymous didactic work of moral and practical advice went through many editions, including printings in Manchester and Liverpool. This comparatively late edition appears to be unrecorded.
