About This Item
New York, New York: Pocket Books, 1955. MMPB. Good. Second Printing Theodora belonged to any man who paid her price...and Justinian, Prince of Byzantium, paid with an empire! ** Historical novel set in 6th century Constantinople, centered on the rise of the Empress Theodora, Giant Cardinal edition GC-20. Spine is weakening with a front hinge and burgeoning split about halfway through, as well as the paper coming away from glue on bottom. Some scuffing to covers. More to the reading copy side of things but still collectible for being a less common print, though too large to fit in a normal poly sleeve. Gold dyed page edges. Packed and shipped with care.
