Sm. 8vo., Eleventh Edition; most attractively bound in ginger full roan, upper board elaborately blocked to an Arts & Crafts design of monogram with acorns and oak leaves in gilt, red and blind, backstrip blocked and lettered in gilt and blind, gilt top, marbled endpapers, uncut, a near fine copy. With 8pp publisher's catalogue bound in at end. This collection of nineteen essays (including 'Cricket and the Backward Look'), was first published in 1906; this is the work's first appearance in this binding. Prance A51 (recording the first edition).
