The adventures of the little animals was first written by Kenneth Grahame in letters to his son, Mouse, which are included here, as are Bertie's Escapade, a story of Pig and Moley here first published in book form, and reminiscences by Mrs. Grahame of her husband, family life, his love for animals, the English countryside, and his ardor in seeking the perfect words in his prose.; 4 illustrations; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 94 pages .
