Brown decorated boards lightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges, spine ends and edge points. Gilt on spine strip dulled. Page edges soiled. Internally decorated endpages slightly age toned but clean, with a previous owners name to 2nd free end-page, and author's name penciled in to top of title page. Otherwise, aside from some smuding to pps. 127-133, a very good clean copy. *Wright III:986. A collection of 7 New England Stories.
