London: Heinemann, 1954. Book. Very Good +. Hard Cover with Dust Jacket. 1st Edition. VG+/Fair Only. Suspenseful drama, set in Kenya. Jacket by Felix Partridge. BOOK:-. Spine head and heel crush. There are no corner bumps, but corners do show mild wear. Blue boards are clean. Some tarnishing of the gilt spine titles. Pencil "ghosts", faint red crayon price, and dealer stamp on FFEP. Heavy offset on endpapers. Scattered foxing on the block edge-cut, but not the text. . DUST JACKET:- Intact, with price. Edgewear. Chips and tears. Tattering of the spine head. Titles not affected, but the "H" in "Heinemann at the spine heel is chipped away. . No fading or browning. Interior foxing, with some show-through to the panel surfaces. Illustration is still bright. Photo on request..
