First published in 1805, this novel tells the tale of Casimir Fleetwood and tells the consequences of the protagonist's natural education.William Godwin (1756-1836) was an English novelist and journalist, considered an early proponent of utilitarianism and anarchism. He was a prolific novelist, known for the novels 'Things as they Are' and 'Cloudesley: a Tale'. In a half crushed morocco binding. Externally a trifle rubbed, with all leather corners lacking. Some rubbing to the spine resulting in a little loss to the leather, with a slight chip to the head of the front joint, as well as general wear to the boards and bumping to extremities.
