About This Item

London : John Van Voorst, 1863 . Cloth. Good. 7.5" by 4.5". None. An interesting natural history book on the Flora of Surrey. From the Manuscripts of the Late J. D. Salmon, F.L.S., and from Other Sources. Compiled for the Holmesdale Natural History Club, Reigate, by James Alexander Brewer. Complete, with both folding maps. In a green cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, generally smart, lightly rubbed in places. There is some minor bumping to the top and tail of the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound. Front hinge is slightly tender. Pages are generally bright and clean with some minor age-toning. There is a bookplate to the recto of front free end papers. Closed tears to the joints of the maps, larger to the geological map of Surrey, but they otherwise remain clean. Good
