About This Item
Sidgwick & Jackson, 1967. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardcover with jacket; Jacket is chipped and edge worn with two prominent scratches on front cover, now in protective cover; Interior is clean and unmarked; Binding is solid; Paper clipped in are an office memo headed Foreign Arrival Notice routed to Diana Vreeland and a hand-witten note on Cond- Nast compliments slip indicating the book is from David Bailey in London. Whether it was forwarded from the fashion photographer Bailey is a matter of total conjecture but memo is dated 4.22.68 and they were chummy so it seems a possible match in terms of time frame and association.
