Cloth faded and worn; a few leaves roughly opened; very good copy.. 2 vols, 8vo, original blind-stamped green cloth, gilt decorations and lettering. ¶ The second book by Caroline Kirkland (1801-1865), a collection of sketches about the life of raising a family on the Michigan frontier, where she moved to from New York in 1837.
