About This Item
Canton, OH: Daring Books, 1987. Presumed first edition/first printng. Hardcover. Very good in very good dust jacket. Signed by author.. 672 p. Bibliography. Source References. Index. This book, written in recognition of the bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution, treats all people who lived at any time in the 225 years before the writing of the Constitution as though they were still alive. Thus in this innovative narrative we can find Benjamin Franklin having dinner with Will Rogers. The format of this work follows that of the Congressional Record of the Congress of the United States, and is the same format as that of the Journals of the Continental Congress (1774 to 1789) which records the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain to the transmittal of the Constitution for ratification to the states in 1787.
