U. S. Army, 1970. Hardcover. NEAR FINE. Slight lift to front board. A .25" nick to top, fore-edge of front board and 1.75" closed tear to rear, top spine. Gently rubbing to spine caps and corners. Silver metallic embossed lettering to blue buckram cloth boards. 11" x 8.5" Unpaginated. Endpapers show colorful panoramic view of base and Monterey Bay. Profusely illustrated with black and white photographs, some colored. 4" x 6" onlay photograph to front cover. Clean, tight, bright. Company year book. The History of Fort Ord is given, up to 1957, on the front and back end sheets. I Am The Infantry is reprinted through courtesy of Infantry Magazine at the beginning of photograph section of officers and serviceman of the 2d Battalion 3d Brigade.
