1857. LEVER, Charles. THE FORTUNES OF GLENCORE. In Three Volumes. London: Chapman & Hall, 1857. First edition. 8vo. Lacking half titles. Three volumes, half-bound in green morocco by Stikeman, over marbled paper-covered boards, with matching endpapers, raised bands and gilt decoration at spines, t.e.g. Sun to spines and edges, with slight shelfwear to edges. Hint of bowing to boards, with one board detached but present. Occasional foxing, touch of soil internally. Original front cover and spine for Vol. I bound-in at the end of that volume; (olive green cloth with a horizontal grain, border to cover and decoration to spine stamped in blind, gilt title to spine). About very good. (Wolff 4088, Sadleir 1405).
