Toronto: Published for the author by Mundy-Goodfellow Printing, 1942. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good. 7.5" x 5.25", 170 pp + [4] plates, in original red cloth binding. Corners and spine ends rubbed and lighly bumped. Inscribed on the half-title page "With kindest regards and good wishes to Mrs. Harold Marsh from the author, your second cousin, S.D. Gaudin, Transcoma, Man. Dec. 12th, 1942." Also has a correction in the author's hand to a caption on one of the plates. Rev. Gaudin and his wife were Methodist missionaries who commenced among the Cree in 1891.
