About This Item
Lincoln, Nebraska: University of Nebraska Press, 1988. This issue of Prairie Schooner contains a number of contributions, but we bought it primarily for the four poems by Alberto Rios (a winner of the Walt Whitman Award): "Sculpting the Whistle," "Leaving off," "Edith Piaf Dead," "Shoreline Horses." Also noteworthy are a laudatory review of a book by Willa Cather scholar Susan Rosowski and a story by Tony Ardizzone. Near fine in soft covers (light edgewear, rubbing, some sunning on white covers).. Soft Cover.
