An enchanting vocal chamber work by British-American composer Raymond Wilding-White (1922-2001), who studied with Aaron Copland and Luigi Dallapiccola in the 1950s. This work sets four poems of St. John of the Cross (in Spanish), the mezzo soprano accompanied by the unique color combination of two flutists (incl. alto & picc.) and two trumpetists (incl. flugelhorn & small trumpet). 46 pages, in the composer's own hand manuscript. CONDITION: a bright, solid, unmarked, uncreased copy with light shelf-wear - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
