Octavo, softcover, light wear to cover and marks on inside covers else good in beige wraps with black lettering in spiral binding. 148 pages. plus several pages of plates; reference guide, photos, diagrams, descriptions. B&w drawings by author. One in a series of small books on pattern glass. Much glass was made prior to 1880. Before the Civil War glass was thick and massive with a fine ringing tone; after 1880 much glass had sculptures such as women's heads, warrior, buffalo etc.
