A detailed work with information on growing all types of fruits including grapes, small fruit, cherries, pears, plums, peaches, apples, apricots, and with a section on growing fruit in greenhouses including tropical fruit such as bananas, some on tropical fruit like figs grown in cooler climate. Very well-illustrated with good ideas, suggestions that are still applicable today. Massachusetts Horticultural Society 347.
