About This Item
London: Macmillan, 1970. First edition. Cloth. Good/Very Good Indeed. 8" by 5". None. The first edition of this novel set during WWII, by the popular author James Graham. The first edition of this military novel from James Graham (one of the pen-names of Harry Patterson), set during the Second World War. 'A Game for Heroes' stands out amongst Patterson's earlier works for its vividly-drawn setting and offbeat plot. In a cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the cloth. Dustwrapper has some slight creasing and some handling marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages have some marginal browning and a few instances of foxing. Good
