Berkeley: Garlic Press, 1977. Newspaper. [8]p., illustrations, wraps. 17.5 x 11.5 in. One vertical and one horizontal fold. Evenly toned, commensurate with age. Faint foxing at the extremities. Very Good. First number of the underground newspaper. With faux news announcements (Freud lectures at UC Berkeley), satirical articles (a self-help style guide to giving up self-improvement), and fictitious blurbs. Includes two illustrations and one short story by children. The stories listed in the cover are indeed not included in the issue.
