In this creative memoir, Lily Havey (b.1932) combines storytelling, watercolor, and personal photographs to recount her youth in two Japanese American internment camps during World War II, first at the Santa Anita Assembly Center in Arcadia and then at the Amache Relocation Center in Colorado. Tall octavo: xiv, 208 p. Original white cloth binding, with black titles. The bottom corners are lightly bumped; else fine in a fine dust jacket.
