About This Item
for J. Knapton, London 1731. Part 2 1732. 8vo (7 x 4 1/8 inches). Both parts unpaginated( but ca. 500-pages in total). Contemporary full dark polished calf, spine gilt within raised bands, burgundy lettering piece. Base of spine very chipped, upper fore-corner of upper cover gnawed away. Early inscriptions on front endpapers, signature on title and ink marks and a crease. Lower and upper damp tide mark to the first 10 leaves.
