Published on the occasion of the Karel Appel exhibition in Galerie Der Spiegel in 1962. 16 leaves of text printed on one side only. 4 original, color lithographs: the dust jacket, 2 loose sheets with color lithographs protected by tissue guards and 1 double page black & white lithograph.With an extra large, loose color lithograph folded 4 times (94,5 x 61,5 cm. unfolded). 5 full page reproductions of photographs by Ed van der Elsken. Text in German by Lucebert, Schierbeek and Oxenaar, 2 poems by Andre Fernaud. Lithographs printed by Fernand Mourlot, Paris. Geh durch den Spiegel, issue 29. Limited edition of 350 copies. 38,5 x 26,5 cm. Corners dust jacket slightly worn, still a very fine copy. .
