Nice condition copy of "GEMS OF STRAUSS - A Choice Collection of Dance Music" by Johann Strauss. 1872; Ditson & Co.; Boston and New York. "Consisting of the Most Beautiful of the Waltzes, Polkas, Galops, Quadrilles and Polka Mazurkas." Hardcover.
Condition:
A name is written in old pencil handwriting at the top-right corner of the front cover. Clean back cover and spine. The paper has chipped away along the edges of the boards and at the cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are mostly clean with only mild foxing here and there. Name/address/date (1881) written in pencil on the back of the title page. The rear pastedown has a series of numbers (presumably page numbers) written in pencil along the top and right-hand edges. Overall the book is in Very Good condition.
