Curtis (1830-1910) from the vantage point of the suspension bridge over the Niagara Gorge; his inscription on the negative for this image reads "General View from the New Susp. Bridge." The albumen print is was mounted by the photographer on a heavy board and is in excellent condition; it is now archivally matted, with a window in the rear mat to show Curtis' logo on the verso of the photo's mount..
