This beautifully illustrated children's book was illustrated and written by popular English illustrator and author Raymond Briggs. Briggs is best known for his 1978 work 'The Snowman' and won the 1966 and 1973 'Kate Greenaway Medals' for his illustrations. This work follows the trials of Jim and Hilda Bloggs, two characters based on the author's parents. In the publisher's original pictorial hardback. Externally excellent with slight marks and bumping to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with light handling marks only. Near Fine
