About This Item
Istanbul: Yapi Kredi Yayinlari, 2019. Paperback. 114p., illustrated with seven doublespread color reproductions of weird artwork all involving a albino rhinoceros. Some of these paintings are frightening, all are expert. The language is Turkish, untranslated. Softbound in 8x5 inch color pictorial wraps with damage; the terminal leaf has been torn out, perhaps with loss to publisher's menu. Back cover bears an electronic theft-protection sticker. Worst, is that the bottom margins of more than half of all leaves are faintly rippled, including the doublespread illustrations, which do not appear at first to have been touched (intense color-printing may have protected these leaves). Else expect a pretty good copy that is worth a look and possibly a perusal.
