Good (glue has aged & split at textblock center w/ plates 48-59 having dislodged; spine binding remains intact. opening textblock at pg 2 split dustjacket has foxing to spine.). Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering; white dj with black lettering and bw illustration; 32 pp text; 104 bw plates with guard sheets. Issued in tan cardboard slipcase. Textblock issues could relate to age or substandard binding material. Photo is of another copy in our collection; this copy does not have the concentrated foxing to dustjacket or rough edged slipcase, though slipcase is not presentation standard. This copy remains bright and sharp. Each plate accompanied by leaf with descriptive letterpress. Includes a preface by F. Winkler. Includes bibliographical references (v. [1], page 23).
